It is commonly said that ‘Familiarity brings content’! True. But with all due respect to whoever quoted it, this too is also a well-known maxim - ‘If you do not change, you can become extinct’!
Now this can become a debatable situation. On one side, it is easy and convenient to tread on the known path and to swim in safe waters. To continue doing what has been believed and done for even aeons together.
While on the other hand, in order to bring in change, there is always the fear of the unknown, the skepticism of the concealed and the reluctance of getting out of the comfort zone.
Herein lies the difference between complacency and risk-taking. The difference between stagnation and movement.
Mexus Education firmly opines that innovation stems from the necessity to transform. The desire for change, the compulsive rejection of the old and the craving for the new. When there is scope to improve, why tolerate the existing? Why make do with the ordinary when the extraordinary is attainable?
Adopting this philosophy is the cornerstone of Mexus Education and its fundamentals.
And this has led Mexus Education to revolutionise the NCERT curriculum. To present it in a manner which has not only challenged the conventional, but also thrown open a whole new array of learning methods.
What follows is only the outcome of taking the risk, of plunging into unknown waters!

Revolutionizing the education system doesn’t just mean rejection of the old, but using the old as foundation to build the new. An ideal innovative education model would be one which uses the existing system as stepping stone to build upon new ideas that were earlier unknown or untapped. Only then can innovation can be accepted and make meaning.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, no one is saying to change the system of education completely, but resistance to even minor changes is not going to help.
ReplyDeleteRevamping the education scenario? Hmm. New learning methods? Okay.
ReplyDeleteInnovation, exciting, face-lift, revolution, it all sounds fine. I wonder how Axiom Education is going to do it. So many new things have been tried and tested. What will work with our education system? And our teachers and students? I am curious to know.
If someone were to be an audience to the various generations, he would witness the transition over the years with respect to their behavior, ideologies, mannerisms and interests. While there has been a phenomenal change on many facades, some things have remained a constant. And one amongst them is their attitude towards learning and education on a whole, an underlying sense of dislike and compulsion that has persistently been seen in the school children. If our new learning methods can change this mindset of our young kids, then we would have succeeded in progressing towards a stronger generation student force! Good Luck!
